We made the change over to Tempest Solutions around two years ago. We experienced an immediate change in our level of service and attention to detail from that of our previous contractor. Once Tempest Solutions had the chance to get our system back on track and well maintained we have experienced a reduction in our breakdown rate of 80%. By keeping our systems well maintained and making us aware of possible issues before they eventuate, our overall costs have been greatly reduced in line with a reduction in breakdowns. In an effort to secure an alternative HVAC provider for our site several years ago, it was suggested we call Tempest Solutions Air. They took our enquiries seriously and went about doing what needed to be done in a professional fashion. We have since used Tempest Solutions for several fitout projects and, in particular, a one-night critical-timeline kitchen exhaust fan upgrade that ran seamlessly and 100% according to plan. We are comfortable referring Tempest Solutions to any commercial building owner, as a company that gets the job done with a minimum of fuss.
Having recently engaged a new HVAC service provider for our buildings, it would be fair to say that Tempest Solutions have been a “breath of fresh air”. From the outset, they have been professional, thorough and most importantly had quickly grasped the concept and operation of our seawater heat exchange plant along with the entire range of HVAC equipment. Tempest Solutions , in understanding the complexities of our equipment, have commenced a rigorous maintenance regime which we feel has now given us back control of our plant. This in turn has created machine efficiency, substantial energy savings and will no doubt increase longevity of the equipment. As a large-scale manufacturer where we sell our products into the market to be installed, we are often at the mercy of the installer to ensure our systems are installed and commissioned correctly. Nationally, we also require competent and reliable field service teams to provide “after sales service and support” for our diverse range of products.
For Sydney, one of our largest markets, we engaged Tempest Solutions well over 20 years ago, and still rely heavily on them today to provide service, commissioning support and repairs. Having already engaged Tempest Solutions for many years prior, it was an easy decision on who to approach while our new buildings were coming out of construction recently, and in their defect liability period.
In typical fashion, Tempest Solutions went about identifying several critical shortfalls in the Essential Services ventilation and HVAC installation, which were accepted by the builder and rectified quickly. Thankfully, the buildings are now able to be certified to Council and we know the Essential Services operate as designed.

Prior to 2013, the relatively new main plant suffered a myriad of expensive problems, however since taking over the plant maintenance in from the previous contactor, Tempest Solutions have taken their responsibility seriously, applying a rigorous maintenance regime, transforming reliability and efficiency of our Seawater heat exchange plant. Our plant is reliable and well looked after year in and year out by the Tempest Solutions team. We would recommend Tempest to any commercial building owner.
For well over 20 years, Tempest Solutions have been our HVAC maintenance contractors. They have amassed a vast amount of information and history relative to our plant and know it intimately. For most of those 20 odd years, the technicians attending to our site have been extremely capable, ethical and reliable. Andrew, Steve and Tony have all done long stints on our site and all know it well.
